We - Takeaway.com - are the leading online food-delivery platform in continental Europe and are looking for a Head of Sales to lead the Scoober Sales team. 


Main goal of a Head of Sales consists in setting ambitious targets for the sales team and guiding the team towards their achievement. Moreover the Head of Sales is responsible for proactive acquisition of key accounts and restaurant chains. 

The position:

Our own restaurant delivery service, Scoober, is expanding, Currently we are operating in several European cities and our market share is growing.

The Head of Sales will be the sparring partner of the Director of Sales. He/she will be responsible for further expanding and developing the sales team and for planning and implementing sales development programs, targeted toward existing and new markets. The Head of Sales will be responsible for accelerating our growth. 

To make the above reality your work will consist of the following tasks;

  • Continuously developing team members through training and coaching sessions;

  • Keeping up to date with the market changes and competitor’s performance;

  • Cooperation on a company level in order to optimize and align processes;

  • Closing and maintaining effective relationships with key accounts;

  • Regular analysis and streamlining of existing processes to increase sales performance;

  • Continuous development of team members through internal training and coaching sessions, both in field and in-house;

  • Carrying out regular meetings with the sales team to review performance;

  • Setting sales targets and guiding the team towards their achievement;

  • Reporting sales team performance to Sales Director.

Your profile:

For this position we are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements: 

  • Proven experience in team development;

  • You are passionate about sales management, the restaurant business, and online delivery;

  • Proven track record of sustained target achievement;

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a continuously changing environment;

  • +5 years of relevant work experience; 

  • Strong ability to coach and bring teams to higher performance standards.

Bonus points for:

  • Sales experience in a data driven or tech related organisation;

  • Ideally a Master degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing;

  • Knowledge of German, French and/or Polish. 


The sales team that is managed by the Head of Sales consists of different positions: team lead, field sales, inside sales, after sales, and sales administrators, who work closely together. Once you joined our team as a Head of Sales, we will be planning growth with the team in The Netherlands, Belgium and other European countries. You will be reporting directly to the Director of Scoober Sales.
