Do you enjoy HTML and AMP-script challenges and always strive to the most customer centric approach? The CRM team is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud developer, who loves marketing automation implementations.

As a MC developer you will be part of our rapidly expanding CRM team. You will develop and maintain email templates used for personalized customer journeys. You will lead the technical vision of the CRM team while enforcing coding standards and maintaining quality and having fun, of course.

You will work on a variety of projects related to the growth of our business. In addition to Apex you will also work extensively with SQL, HTML and JavaScript. Your biggest kick will come from using technology to personalize the best in class food delivery experience for millions of customers. You are part of one of the “Customer Retention Management” Team which has a clear focus to improve retention, based on clear data-insights developed in cooperation with our BI team. Therefore, the people in the team have different backgrounds and roles to achieve the goal (and thereby opportunities to learn from your peers). By doing so you have a big contribution to's growth strategy.

The Position in short, you

  • Will create technical infrastructure and technical vision of the CRM team
  • Will develop and code responsive email templates for personalization
  • Are capable of gathering business requirements and translating them into technical designs, and solutions and prototypes
  • Will assist with creation of new campaigns, including data configuration, audience creation, and utilization of capabilities in the platform
  • Includes knowledge of Automation Studio, Data Extensions, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, and Data Integrations
  • Will create segmentation groups and track emails and develop relevant reports and dashboards
  • Will configure Salesforce Marketing Cloud to create journeys using Journey Builder
  • Will leverage Marketing Cloud Services tools and scripting language (i.e. AMP-script) to deliver highly dynamic and personalized content
  • Will design and maintain new and existing programming customizations to the SFMC

  • Are able to collaborate with amazing digital experts across disciplines to innovate and create great solutions

A Day In The Life Of…

At 9AM you walk in the office and you start your day with a lovely cappuccino. After the CRM stand up (we’ve ditched Scrum for Kanban) you were asked to create a new journey for food lovers that didn’t order for a while together with our CRM specialists. You have done your research and know what data points you need to execute this plan. Combining order feeds, the customer database, web content, customer profile groups and insights on clicking behaviour in Salesforce Marketing Cloud your able to create highly personalised journey and convert prospects into customers. Today, you are working together with the CRM Specialist and BI Specialist to see where all the data is stored, afterwards you create your blueprint on how best to align all data points in Marketing Cloud.

In the afternoon you give a small workshop to the CRM team, about how they can setup these kind of campaigns themselves in the future. In this interactive session you not only brief them on the possibilities but also challenge them on knowledge.

Your Profile

  • A bachelor/academic degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience including;
  • Developing SQL with a RDBMS such as MySQL, MS SQL Server
  • HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Visual force, SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration techniques
  • AMPScript, Data Extensions, Automation studio and Journey Builder
  • Git, the Salesforce Metadata API, sandboxes & deployment tools
  • Excellent understanding of relational databases required
  • A sound understanding of cohort-, RFM-, clustering- and e-mail/message pressure analysis
  • Deep knowledge of the SFMC platform, including SFMC E2.0 and Journey Builder
  • Experience delivering projects using Agile based methodology
  • Designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions
  • Passionate about the digital landscape with desire for continuous learning and advancement
  • You are a team player who can collaborate and support internal and external Salesforce users
  • Fluent in English (our company language), preferably with at least on of the following language skills: Dutch, German French or Polish

  • Knowledge of Web Services, java, Net-C# technologies
