We - Takeaway.com - are the leading online food-delivery platform in continental Europe and are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Partner Services Team in Enschede.
We are committed to support the rapidly growing restaurant base in 9 European countries with a wide collection of merchandise and disposables. The collection contains of 60+ unique articles that ranges from winter/ summer jackets, t-shirts, stickers, e-bikes to delivery backpacks.
As a Supply Chain Specialist you are responsible for the entire purchasing- and logistics process up to the delivery at our partner restaurants. This requires the Supply Chain Specialist to track inventory and orders as well as forecast future supply needs.
As a Supply Chain Specialist you’re responsible for:
Identifying opportunities and implementing scalable improvements;
Actively respond to possible disruptions in the Supply Chain;
Define and implement KPI’s;
Manage and coordinate with internal and external partners;
Analyzing the Supply Chain performance;
Responsible for the return policy and return handling;
Optimization of warehousing;
Provide forecasts, place and supervise purchase orders, monitor delivery times.
In the dynamic environment of Takeaway.com, the Supply Chain Specialist is involved in efforts to design and improve our current logistical processes, where your individual contribution, ideas and solutions will have a large impact.

We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience in:
- Supply Chain and logistics ;
- Working with ERP systems
- +3 years of relevant working experience;
- a bachelor or university degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Logistics;
- Highly organized and detail-oriented way of working;
- Strong analytical skills;
- You are able and willing to travel (Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, etc.)
Bonus points for:
- F&B experience;
- Verbal and / or written language skills in German or French;
- Experience in Lean / Six Sigma etc.
The Partner Services Team is growing immensely. There is a lot of (international) dynamic going on and the energy level is high ! You will be working from the Enschede office, where a large part of the Partner Services Team is stationed.
