We are looking for a highly motivated and creative Senior Visual Identity Specialist (m/f) in Amsterdam who joins our top-team of international Visual Designers.

The position:

  • Shape the visual identity of across multiple mediums, including: graphic design, campaign design, icon design, infographic design, illustration, photography, presentations, product and interface design, landing pages and social media
  • Define, maintain, and evolve our visual identity in all public communication

  • You will work closely with all departments to translate the brand’s identity into landing pages, assets for online and offline marketing (including emails, display banners, social media, print, out of home), business collateral, stationery design, video assets, illustrations and photography assets for content marketing

  • Translate business goals, designs and initiatives into a strong, compelling and innovative visual identity

  • Collaborate with creative and brand team members to ideate and execute digital assets that adhere to our brand guidelines

  • Research latest trends and new techniques to support design decisions

  • Maintain the visual identity of the brand throughout every channel

Your profile:

  • Have at least 6 years of corporate design, visual identity development working experience

  • Excellent understanding and knowledge of brand development & brand design

  • Experience in building and working with / for big brands

  • Strong portfolio showing a range of projects you’ve designed including branding, identity design and marketing collateral

  • Solid understanding of composition, colour, imagery, and photography

  • Expert knowledge of relevant design software (Adobe CC, Powerpoint / Keynote are a plus)

  • Attention to detail – meticulous when it comes to typography, grids, balance and white space

  • Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and effectively

  • Strong opinions, loosely held. Willing to fight for an idea, but willing to compromise too.

  • Comfortable with art directing photographers, videographers, illustrators, other designers and external partners to protect our visual identity

  • Highly motivated, self-directed, enthusiastic, well organised even under high pressure and with short deadlines

  • Have exceptional eye for print and typography

  • Graduated in branding, media- or graphic design (BA+)

  • Ability to design quickly and share progress openly and frequently

  • Language skills: Fluent in English; Dutch, German, French or Polish are a plus
